I'm a backend-focused Full Stack Engineer with 5+ years of experience designing and delivering web applications, scalable REST APIs, microservices, and CI/CD pipelines. I build reliable, maintainable solutions for distributed teams.

Technical Focus

My primary stack includes Node.js, NestJS, PostgreSQL, React, Vue.js, Nuxt, Docker, and Jenkins. I also work with REST APIs, CQRS, relational and non-relational databases, code reviews, and Agile delivery practices.

I am currently developing hands-on skills in Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.

Experience

Since April 2022, I have worked as a Systems Analyst and Full Stack Developer at Pontificia Universidad Católica del Ecuador - Ibarra. Previously, I worked remotely as a Full Stack Developer at Soluciones Tecnológicas KAUEL, where I contributed to Node.js, NestJS, React, CQRS, and IoT integrations.

My earlier experience includes coordinating technology initiatives at GESIN, building data-management tooling for GAD Tulcán, and supporting virtualization infrastructure at PUCE Ibarra.

Education & Languages

I hold a Master's Degree in Full Stack Development from Universidad Internacional de La Rioja and a Bachelor's Degree in Systems Engineering from Pontificia Universidad Católica del Ecuador - Ibarra. I am Cambridge English B2 First certified and have experience communicating in international work environments.
